Welcome to Thunderbird Bungalows

In operation for over 50 years, Thunderbird Bungalows is a family-friendly, seasonal resort nestled in the picturesque townsite of Wasagaming within Riding Mountain National Park, operating May through October each year.

The resort is close walking distance to the shops, restaurants, trails, and the main beach of Clear Lake.

The Cabins

The Thunderbird has 26 – 1, 2, and 3 bedroom cabins set in a natural environment surrounded by mature trees.

Each fully-furnished cabin includes air-conditioning, heat, flat-screen television with satellite and a deck with private bbq and patio set for each cabin.

Thunderbird Bungalows offers a playground area for the kids to enjoy as well as a seasonal heated, outdoor swimming pool (open for prime season only, weather permitting).

There is an on-site guest laundry facility available with coin-operated laundry machines.

We offer free wi-fi. Internet reliability is limited in the area so it is recommended to have a personal data plan if reliable internet is a requirement for you.
